Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Alla’s Clothing Alterations operates by appointment only, so that every client gets her full attention and the garment is looked at properly.
How long do alterations take?
Most alterations are completed within approximately one week. Complex or formal garments may require more time.
Can you give me a price from a photograph?
An approximate starting price can sometimes be given from a photo. The final price is confirmed only after the garment has been inspected or fitted, because construction, fabric and lining change the work considerably.
Do you offer custom sewing?
No. Alla specializes in clothing alterations and repairs — making garments you already own fit better, feel more comfortable and last longer.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and e-transfer.
Do you offer urgent service?
Urgent service may be available depending on the current workload, and is subject to an additional 40% fee.
Do you work on weekends?
No. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
