About

Every garment is worth getting right

I specialize in professional clothing alterations and repairs. My goal is to help every garment fit better, feel more comfortable and last longer. Each item is carefully assessed, and the price is confirmed with the client before the work begins.

The work

Alterations and repairs — not custom sewing

I am a professional seamstress, and I have been working in Canada since 2022. What I do is clothing alterations and repairs: taking something you already own and making it fit you.

I do not make garments to order. It is a different craft, and I would rather do one thing properly than two things approximately.

Quality and fit are what I am judged on. A hem should hang straight, a seam should disappear, a zipper should still be working in two years. Every order is assessed and priced individually, and I work by appointment so that each garment gets my full attention.

How I got here

Three countries, one pair of hands

Ukraine

I started with toys. Small ones, sewn by hand, for small children — soft shapes and textures that teach little fingers, and through them, little minds. It was a hobby that turned into something useful. I made them so children could learn faster, settle easier, understand the world by touching it.

Poland

Then the war came, and I left. In Poland I started again from nothing — new country, new language, no workshop of my own. Within six months I was working again. I have never known how to sit still.

The Comox Valley

Life moved me once more, across an ocean. It did not break me. Since 2022 I have sewn for the people of the Comox Valley — the place that welcomed my family when we needed it. This is how I say thank you: carefully, one garment at a time.
